Key Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Engineer who will drive sales of industrial automation products and solutions to industrial end-users (breweries, cement plants, and similar process industries), combining technical expertise with strong customer relationship management to grow Eltekh’s market share in this segment.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with industrial end-users in brewery, cement, and related process industries
• Conduct site visits to understand plant operations, existing systems, and automation needs
• Understand customer’s production processes and recommend appropriate automation solutions (PLCs, drives, sensors, motor control, power distribution components, etc.)
• Provide technical product specification, cross-referencing, and application support
• Prepare technical proposals and solutions in collaboration with principal brands (Schneider Electric, ABB, Phoenix Contact, LS Electric, Danfoss, Socomec, Mersen)
• Coordinate product demonstrations and technical presentations to plant engineers and management
• Coordinate with Sales Admin and Stock teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers: plant engineers, maintenance managers, procurement teams
• Provide after-sales support and address technical issues promptly
• Stay updated on automation technology trends relevant to brewery and cement industries
• Attend principal training sessions to maintain up-to-date product knowledge
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, opportunities, and sales activities (CRM/tracker)
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
• 1–3+ years of experience in industrial automation sales or application engineering
• Strong technical understanding of automation components (PLC, VFD, motor control, power distribution)
• Willingness to travel for site visits and customer meetings
• Proficiency in English; Khmer required
